I know that feeling well.. my boy was sposed to unload/reload the dishwasher this afternoon as he's had a lot of treats lately and not done anythng to earn them. Has he done it? has he fekk! so do I go do it myself so I can get dinner done n stuff or wait for him.. and have no clean dishes n stuff for later?

Happens all the time at work - e.g. I needed someone to explain where they were pulling the data from in a spreadsheet - I think all the data they are using is wrong, but I need to know precisely which reports are run to prove it. I was asking someone and they kept saying 5 minutes - I left late and they still hadn't told me

I think that's one reason I take too much on - can't rely on others.

Don't get me going on hospital errors - my husband got letters saying you have missed your appointment and he never got them in the first place.

Having gone yesterday we found out why. They sent them to the wrong address yet sent the you have missed the appointment letters to the right address, the dummies:mad:

That's appalling CC! Although I don't know why I'm surprised - is it any wonder the NHS is in such a state?

Can anyone explain this to me

I jelled with a person (female) I met on a site in early 2004. We were real soulmates. She spoke all day to from work on msn. She didn't do much in her job and was bored. I was at home all day and we really got on and had a lot in common. She is a lot younger than I am but she was so mature in outlook. She was a troubled soul - won't go into what but she had issues with her family etc.

When we spoke, we giggled but did touch on serious stuff too.

We had this brilliant relationship, even met up a couple of times and still got on.

Then it all went odd in June 2005.

She got a new job and hardly hear from her now. She has even been up to Scotland but didn't visit me. Her love life mattered far more.

I feel she has been pushing me away, yet we haven't argued or anything.

What has happened? Why do people just stop contacting each other for no real reason?

Is it any wonder I find it hard to trust people I think are mates.

It just happens - often people just don't have time / forget to keep in touch. They don't get back in touch as they are embarrassed about losing touch or they have moved on with their lives.

    Don't take it personally,

I can so identify with that blinky. I've always put it down to me being a bit of a control freak, but the plain fact is there are so few reliable people, it seems to me. Just expecting someone to do what they're asked - why is that such a problem? But you just end up taking on other people's work. Grrrrr

I'm generally crap at it too, mainly because I have a very hard time believing anyone would want to stay in contact with me. :o

Tis true.. if everone did what they were supposed to.. imagine how smoothly everthing would run. I've just given my isp/phone provider 30 days notice that I'm going elsewhere because they've lost my last 3 payments, cut off my phone and demanding I pay £278 - even tho I gave them the dates and refs of my payments

soo.. any recommendations folks? Homechoice looks quite good so far?
