    Hi and welcome

I'm not sure. We need a place in central Scotland and another anywhere we can afford that we like!
Fife is nice - quiet aswell. Some parts of Edin are quiet, or youve got the borders, bo-ness n that....

    Edinburgh is so expensive now.

I loved it when I first came up here in 1993 but it's changing.

Bathgate isn't too bad pricewise, but there are so many depressing areas in West Lothian/Lanarkshire.

    Afternoon peeps..

Meeting was unproductive really.. apparently there is a respite/care package in place but no one knows what it is and the person who set it up is off sick or something  Anyway.. the upshot is that she's being discharged from where she is on friday, home for the weekend and then into the new place on monday morning. After that she'll be home every weekend cos the new place closes

I'm feeling quite good and positive today.. no idea why but I'm not knocking it, lol. Maybe its the lovely sunshine out there or something :)

I'm glad to see peace and harmony restored and I'd like to apologise if I contributed to anyone feeling uncomfortable in anyway last night :/

Hope you're all fine.. I'm just gonna have my 2nd cuppa of the day now and relaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Glad you have the sunny buzz despite all that is going on around you!

I don't feel any discomfort from you last night.

Can anyone explain this to me

I jelled with a person (female) I met on a site in early 2004. We were real soulmates. She spoke all day to from work on msn. She didn't do much in her job and was bored. I was at home all day and we really got on and had a lot in common. She is a lot younger than I am but she was so mature in outlook. She was a troubled soul - won't go into what but she had issues with her family etc.

When we spoke, we giggled but did touch on serious stuff too.

We had this brilliant relationship, even met up a couple of times and still got on.

Then it all went odd in June 2005.

She got a new job and hardly hear from her now. She has even been up to Scotland but didn't visit me. Her love life mattered far more.

I feel she has been pushing me away, yet we haven't argued or anything.

What has happened? Why do people just stop contacting each other for no real reason?

Is it any wonder I find it hard to trust people I think are mates.

    Sorry full of it today

Does anyone else find trying to clear a job list frustrating when you need someone else to do their bit?

Why do people drag things along?

I like to get them out of the way, not leave the blooming thing festering:mad:

Personally I think it's largely circumstantial
    I agree with you.

I think if it is a physical problem, it is to do with a physical health issue, such as a disability of any sort (not just someone in a wheelchair etc)

Although SAD is caused by darkness which messes up the serotonin/melatonin balance. Again that is an outside source.

You get enough bad luck, you start to wonder if you are jinxed.

I am re-reading a book and would like to share my gems that I trying to put into practice.

Anything that life throws at you, you can handle
Set goals for yourself and act on it
    I am - going forward
I also play positive message mp3s that say nice things.

Not watch the blooming miserable news too much. I know you need to know current affairs that directly affect you like interest rates etc but, don't flame me now, seeing people suffering in the world is horrible and creates a feeling of uselessness and guilt. Sure we can send money and some people actually goto these places to help but I worry about how corrupt these places are and how much they get. Don't you also feel these reporters really get off on being in dangerous places:eek:

Don't get me going on hospital errors - my husband got letters saying you have missed your appointment and he never got them in the first place.

Having gone yesterday we found out why. They sent them to the wrong address yet sent the you have missed the appointment letters to the right address, the dummies:mad:
