hair ideas?

Hey all....been a while since i started a thread over here :)

anyway, I need to go see the hairdresser and sort out how I want my hair for the big day, so I thought I would look for some photos to show her of the kind of thing I like...only problem being I cant find anything I like (or should I say that I would like on me)

So I was wondering if you have any suggestions for places I can look for inspiration?
I have brown hair, down past my shoulders if that helps
and I think I want to keep it mainly down as I always like pictures of me better when my hair is down :)

Im going to tesco in a mo so going to look for some hair mags, but website suggestions would be great

thanking you

Do any of those help? I think there are some up dos too, you can tweak the words I put in to see if you can get it to give you images more suited to you

I found this website invaluable when planning my wedding

    http://www.projectwedding.com/photo/browse?!!!!!hair

You can look at pictures of everything from hair and make up to cakes and dresses. They also have real life weddings on there too :)

When selecting hair styles I right clicked the image I liked, pasted it onto a word document and then added more as I went along, I then printed out the word document and took it to the hairdressers so they could get an idea of what styles I liked.

    Hope that helps.

My hair is a dark blonde/mousey brown colour and my eyebrows are dark. Throughout my life i've gone from blonde to dark to red and now I don't know what to have! My roots are coming through so i need something done but with the wedding looming (July) I am loathe to commit myself to a colour...

What do you think - blonde or dark?!

depends which colour/s you like best and what suits you/your colouring/etc Only tip I can give you is 'I once and once only' spent an absolute fortune & went to London to have my hair done - cost me a mint! but never regretted it - went to the cream of the cream & was thrilled with it. You could do that, photograph yourself after & then ask local hairdresser to reproduce for your wedding......just an idea.

It was well worth the money to me. I think you should think about using a hairdresser who has lots of imagination....good luck anyway

superfan - what colour makes you feel most comfortable and gorgeous?

I used to dye my hair all the time, but then i realised the colour I actually like most is my natural colour :)

Mine cost £50 in total, I had a trial and had it done on the day, I just phoned up a local hairdresser to the venue and discussed it over the phone.

Are you in London for them to be charging £140?
