SH Harrold Opticians in St Ives, Cambs

Never posted in this section before but I have to praise this optician in St Ives, nr Cambridge.
I have always used the big chains ie Specsavers or Optical Express, however I've taken to supporting local businesses as far as possible in the last few years.
I needed to get some prescription sunglasses and also decided to treat myself to some new specs too. The very helpful assistant spent ages with me advising on frames and lens and also ringing up the manufactuers getting info etc. I was there for ages trying to make my mind up ( I didn't want to rush as i'd be spending 500 quid ! )
So after deciding on the glasses finally, I asked for a discount and got a 3rd off, saving myself 138 quid !!
It's one of the main reasons I shop locally now, the smaller retailers are able to give a discount !
