I use one i bought from Aldi for £4.99. It works brilliantly. Nice and compact. Why pay more when you just want it to make cakes.

It's similar, but not quite the same. Mine has a kind of extra bit on the bottom end (the end opposite the beaters), so it sits nicely on top of a mixing bowl, but TBH, a hand mixer mixes so quickly anyway that it's no great hardship to have to hold it.
