Going rate is about £1/mile. Any garage should be able to point you in the right direction.

I will be having an inspection done.. Only need delivery one way from location to my house.

The delivery wagon has to get from its base to car's location and then to your house and back to its base, all at £1 per mile is what I think Hintza is saying.

Ahh ok, think it might be cheaper for me to fly there and drive the car back, will give me plenty of time to become aquainted with it.... ;)

    A word of warning.

There have been a number of threads on here from people who have bought cars from a long way away and then had problems that they cannot get sorted because the dealer is so remote from them.

Unless this car is very, very rare I would look for one nearer to home.

Agreed, some have also not been as advertised, causing a total waste of time and money.

Why on earth would you not want to go get it yourself?
If there was any problems etc with it or damaged in any way once it got to your house I doubt you would have any comeback as there is nothing to say what it was like when it left the garage's premises.
