lost intallation disc

lost the installation disc for my wireless mouse. its a microsoft notebook optical mouse 4000.

any ideas if i can download it from the internet.

The standard Windows HID drivers will cover basuic functions but if it has any fancy extras you can download the install disk from...

He was pretty much right though - Windows (and Linux and probably even Mac) will support basic mouse functionality without installing any device specific drivers.
