Hi, I also have ordered some small items from Cancer Research and Help for Heros.
As I am putting them in little boxes with a chocolate, I didn't want the card attachment anyway, so I have not ordered the pins that are actually sold as favors.

From Cancer Research, they have different flower pins and cute animal ones too which would be good for children. I ordered some lavender ones and some pinky flower ones (can't remember name!) which are pretty and only £1 each.

From Help for Heros, for the men I ordered 2 different things. The pins I could afford are the injured teddy bear ones, cute but plastic, so I only got these for the younger men. The rest will get keyrings, the trolley coin ones, which I thought were very nice for £1.50

Both orders arrived really quickly, so if you are short of time this is a faster option than the favor pins on personalised cards. Well worth doing :)

Also - you can probably get these from your local committee too, if you don't want to wait for them...!!

We have all sorts of ribbons, pin badges etc for events throughout the year and you can go and collect locally in the majority of cases.

There were (a couple of years ago) some really pretty brooches and keyrings, they were a bit more than the usual £1 donation, but they were so worth it -
maybe something like http://www.giftshop.cancerresearchuk.org/products/pink-compact-mirror/ for your top table guests??

You can usually pick these things up in the CRUK charity shops too if you have them near you.
hi,i dont kno if it was just the shop near me but i went into cruk befor ordering only to be told i had to order them online if i wanted the card too
anyway im happy with them :)

Yes - If you want the card too, then you would need to order them (and this is what takes a bit longer)
Lots of people don't have the card though.
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??
