CAPITAL ONE HELP PLS! They're drivimg me mad!!

Hi all. Was wondering if anyone can help. I sent a letter to Capital One Executive Office (address from their website) re a PPI complaint on 14 Dec. about an old credit card. To date have had no acknowledgement.
I have phoned their cust service no twice and both times I have been told that they have no record of my account, even though I have provided them with all the details, including the card no and I have statements in front me.
They have also said that there is no way that I can speak directly to their Complaints Department as this department does not have a telephone no!
Have advised me that I must just wait or write again.
Any suggestions?

Many thanks

    Hi There
Did you send a letter from this site or similar and give them 8 weeks to respond. If they have not responded within that period then write again give them a week to reply if they do not then tell them that you will complain to the FOS.

    Good Luck

    Hi,
thanks for replying. Yes, I sent the letter from this site, by recorded delivery. My problem at the minute is that their website says that they will send an acknowedgement of the complaint within 5 days and I have not received this yet.
But after talking to their cust service people it seems there is no way I can check that they have rec'd it at all. The customer service people say that they are unable to either phone or e mail the Complaint Department at the Execuive Office and so there is nothing they can do for me an I will just have to wait and see if I get a reply.

    Thanks

OK I would advise that you send another recorded delivery and they will have to sign for it. I know thaat is extra time but at least they cannot deny having received it.
