Note : Flat Screen refers to the shape of the screen, this is a CRT with a flat screen and is not a LCD or plasma!
"Baien" brand 29" TV (27" visible) with Nicam and 2 scart (1 is true RGB which provides greater picture quality for your Freeview etc) and also some extra ports on the side of the TV for your games console etc.
These were £129 or so last year and are now at £99. They are not heavily advertised so you have to ask at the information desk and they will bring one down from the warehouse.
The friendly staff at my local Asda kindly helped in getting the beast into my car but getting it into my bedroom was another story! It is heavy and you will need a few pairs of hands. Eventually ended up nearly dropping the thing but after a bit of damaging the furniture we got there. The screen and casing was quite dirty out of the box but I just used a bit of methalyted spirit on it and it is now nice and clean.
A great TV for under £100!

Maybe later if the TV dosen't blow up!
Just randomly started hissing etc. Turned it off and back on and it seems fine so hopefully it is just an effect of condensation or something0 -
they are £179 in my local asda in bromborough

can confirm there £99, work for asda, seems a good buy0

It is a great set from my use of it but the plastic around the front is a bit damaged (A few chips and paint marks which look a bit ugly). Would Asda repair this within my 1yr warranty? As the problem is the set is now installed in my bedroom and to take it back off the furniture it is on would be quite dangeous

Do they offer a on site repair service for the TV
Also I accidentally dropped the remote tonight in excitement but it survived! Do Asda have any spares of the exact remote for the TV if I ever damaged it out of use? As the manufacturer is a no name brand and the TVs are especially designed for Asda0 -
johntea unlikely, you'd probably need an all-in-one and programme it for your tv if u needed a replacement remote, or if u have a cable or sky remote just programme that for the tv0

Are you sure you asked for the right TV? As they have a similar sized model which is also widescreen and a different make for close to £2000
