Wood burning stove in a new property (no chimney)

Afternoon all,
I'll get straight to the point. Is it possible to fit a wood burning stove into a brand new property? The property itself doesn't have a chimney so I'm guessing the flue pipe will go straight out and up the side of the house?
We're wondering what restrictions there may be and what we'll have to take into consideration.
The house is detached if that makes any difference.

It's possible, as you say the flue has to go somewhere.
Best thing to do is to get in a couple of HETAS firms and see what they say.

watch out for the cost though...I got a quote for this and the flue/chimney cost more than the stove and general installation.0

Like if your ordinary chimney needs lining..... eye watering cost. fortunately ours was OK.0

I've done some more research into it and it looks to be way out of our budget, which is a shame.
Does anyone have any experience with flueless gas stoves?0 -
one of our friends had one fitted. it turned out to be more decorative than anything else.
cost a lot to run and the heat output was poor. they had it replaced with a normal balanced flue gas fire. an expensive error.
i cant remember the make of it though.Get some gorm.0
