yes,she loves dancing so I think she will love that idea.There will be people there to lead them in dance moves too on the day so I will ask them to do some HSM routines for the whole party.

Just found a great link to some stuff on a disney site for HSM theme so off to browse that some more now.Might get even more ideas.

I did my own invites for DD's party last summer.

She had a pizza making party so I did various pizza ingredients and slices and managed to photoshop a pic of her, put a chef hat on it and managed to get it to look like she was tossing a pizza. I just printed them out on A4 paper.

Obviously nothing to do with HSM but was very effective, she enjoyed helping design them and the kids loved them because they had her pic on, would be quite easily adapted to HSM.

If you're planning to do balloons to take away then do helium ones and use them for the table decoration as well. One bunch per table and wrap the cords around a good heavy stone/book/bag of pebbles etc.

If you have somewhere local that you can source some red and white carrier bags from you can use these to make cheer leader pom poms.

Doing a red fruit punch with fruit floating in it, and going to try to frost the cups with red coloured sugar.

Going to search for affordable helium now.If its too expensive I will just use balloon sticks again like last year.

phone call from venue last night and they said they dont have a dj for my party(its the djs day off but no-one had put it in the booking diary)They offered me another date but it wasnt suitable.Not exactly ideal for a disco party to have no dj so I now have an empty room,a time and day,lots of ideas, but I need more ideas as I will have to now plan the entertainment too.
I am searching for a replacement dj and will ask my teenage niece to get some friends together to teach dance moves to the kids,niece in into dance and theatre so it should go well,hope she agrees to do it.
The dj,when we do manage to find one,should be able to do party games which suit the HSM theme so I am hopefull I can fix this disaster and still give my daughter a fab prom party.

yeah!I found a DJ,everything is okay again.
I found HSM stuff for £1 in boots sale online and am using that for goody bags.
HSM 1/2 price perfume gift set from boots as one of DD,s pressies.
menu is decided as choice of hotdog or burger(option on invite),popcorn and juice

I have seen so much HSM stuff reduced lately...
My daughter used to love it but as they havent done anything recently her interested has waned a little, which i was thinking was typical as everytime i see HSM bits they are all reduced these days!

Im sure ive seen decent reductions in Toys R Us, Boots, the range and tescos / Asda, but these may well just be in store bargains... my best advice is keep your eyes open!
