Depends what you want. I'm in Lilliput (2 miles East of Poole, 3 miles west of Bournemouth) which has everything I want (sea 1 mile away, cafes, new forest close, etc etc) but then Dorset is filled with wonderful little villages as well!
You need to be a little more specific in what you want OR do what I did when moved here - take a road trip!0 -
I read this thread title as 'Recommend me some A-R-S-E please'"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Abbotsbury is beautiful, its a little village. So is Lulworth Cove, but they both swarm in the Summer months with tourists. I also like to visit Lyme Regis and Bridport but im not too sure on villages im afraid. What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0

I live in Wimborne, easy to get to the best beaches in England, lovely countryside for walking, easy to get to Poole, Bournemouth etc etc. Try to narrow your search down a bit more- it will be easier to tell you what its like.
Good luck0
