Clutch wear - driving in snow
My 15 minute drive into work took an hour today, manchester is covered in 7" of snow.
I didn't get out of 2nd gear all the way here.
The icy roads/snow combo has been going on for the last 2 weeks.
Traffic was constantly stop/start with traffic lights, cars being abandoned, wheelspinning, getting stuck, bumps etc.
It got me wondering if there would be a noticable wear on the clutch from the very slow pull offs and longer clutch slip times to get into second gear gently? To get out the drive required extended first gear clutch slippage with very low revs.

Try pulling away in second gear, much less wheel slip...Fight Crime : Shoot Back.
