Electoral Roll

in Credit cards
Hi there, I’m just in the process of updating my electoral roll details and was hoping to get advice from the members of this forum.
Currently all my bank accounts / loans / credit cards are registered at my parents home address - a throw back to my student days... I now live elsewhere and was wondering which of the following courses of action would be best for my credit score.
Get on the electoral roll at my parents address.
Or,
Inform the banks of my new address and get on the correct electoral roll.
Many thanks in advance!

Personally I would want to get it all corrected.
However you should wait for a period when you don't need to apply for credit, because it may take a month or two for everything to get updated. A lot of organisations update the CRAs monthly not daily.0 -
I agree with lisyloo, although I must ask where you're registered at the moment? The reason I ask is a few years ago I moved into a friends house for a few months when my lease was up and I was looking to buy with the missus, and I now have a period of 3 addresses in 5 months which doesn't look good (despite 4 yrs at the previous address). I'm just thinking how long you're planning to be at your new place.0

Been at my current address for 4 years... No immediate plans to move - so I reckon I'll swap the details over.0 -
Yup, sounds like a plan to me mate0
