Seeds 19p at Netto

Netto are selling vegatable and flower seeds for 19p from Thursday 7th January.

We needed a few bits today and although the roads and paths close to the house are still fairly bad, it is a clear sunny day so thought we would try a short drive. As I knew about this offer we decided to go to netto (usually go to them once or so a month as a change to adli/lidl/morrisons).
The main roads were a bit better, although only one or 2 had been grittted . Managed to get to netto who had the worst, slippiest car park I have ever been on. Luckily OH had booked today as leave so he had to help me (6 months pregnant) DD1 (6) and DD2 (2) over to the shop lol.

After all that.......
No deliveries this week so far so no seeds .

OH is back at work tommorrow so will try the Netto near his works, they are on a main road so hopefully will have had a delivery?

Just something for peeps to bear in mind, these seeds may not be in the shops till next week.

i got a few today , not a great choice , went to wilko'saswell and got some for 28p , beetroot . radish and kale

Finally got the seeds in at my local store today. Mind you by afternoon alot had already gone, must be all the gardeners desperate to get started lol.
Looks like the same selection as last year I think, not the hugest selection but at that price fab for your basics.
can't remember all I got (and they are stashed away in the garage now lol, but do remember,
Purple sprouting brocolli

Toms-sadly only moneymaker

cauliflower-all year round I think

parsnips-not sure of variety

carrots-early nantes-grew alot of these last year, quick growing and ate them small so lovely and sweet-I didn't thin them out just planted fairly thinly and thinned as we ate so to speak, kids were eating them in the garden, quick woosh under the hose and away they went rofl.

Quite few flower seeds but can only think of Giant sunflowers.

So worth a look for the basics at such a good price, then see what aldi/lidl/pound shops get and if you want a specific variety try you usual supplier-I use an ebay shop who have been great.
