Is it worth repairing?

Hi
I have been having a number of problems with my car as of late. The clutch has just been replaced, as has the drive shaft, it has just had a full service.
After the service, the spark plugs were playing up so I had them replaced and now it is back to misfiring (juddering, not properly accelorating) and it is coming to the point when I have to ask myself is it really worth repairing? Should I just cut my losses and get a new one?
Current problems include punctured tyre (all have little tread on anyway so could do with replacing), gas struts on boot are gone, bonnet clasp is f'ed, spark plugs (or some connection with spark plugs) is funny again.
It is a 2001 Clio. I (well had to get family to help out) have spent nearly a grand on it over the past few months and where will it end?
Thanks for any responses!

What's wrong with it?
There was a recall of Clios with faulty bonnet catches - they'd fly open sometimes
Repair vs replace - get a cost for repairing the faults and ask yourself if you can afford / justify either once you know how much it'll cost...0 -
Just sort of won't close. If I push down on it it springs back up and won't stay put. Had to top windscreen fluid up at services on M1. Can't remember if it closed properly as I just let it drop as usual but when I got home I noticed it wasn't closed properly. Was so relieved it didn't fly open on motorway.Debt as of 02/02/2012

I'd definitely be getting that fixed ASAP depending on cost - it maybe is worth pricing up the cost of changing to something a bit more reliable though.0

I'm somewhat sceptical about driving it so it is stuck at my mum's at the moment and I am borrowing her car. I think I am going to have to because it just seems to be one thing after the other with my car. I never had this problem with mk4 Escort - worst thing that happened on that was fan belt going. How I miss the times of simple, cheap motoring!
Thanks for your help,

they all sound like genral clio faults to be honest. tyres will wear on any car though. and the clutch will only last as long as you make it last....work permit granted!0

You just need to weigh up repair v replace
iv done so recently and im driving about in a dented van, a good few scratches on it etc but im having to make do.Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

The missfire will be the coil pack.
Clutch and tyres get replaced on most cars - its down to how the driver treats them.
Gas struts wear out. Period.
Bonnet catch - there was a recall on them. Look into it, see if yours has been done/missed.0 -
clutch, tyres and the boot struts will be parts that you find exactly the same on many cars, they just wear out0
