Can anyone help...
I am planning on adding Sentinel X400 sludge remover to my open CH system, only problem is I have checked all downstairs rads and they all have normal valves on them, there doesn't seem to be any way to drain the system, any advice would be appreciated.

The drain valve/ mt c0ck should be fitted at the lowest point on the system, have you got a hatch in the floor where pump etc may be fitted.BORN TO RIDE - FORCED TO DRIVE

A draincock is not necessarily associated with a rad valve. Sometimes you'll find it on a length of inconspicous pipe just teed into the run away from a rad. Be certain that if you have one it will be as close to the lowest point in your system that they could get it. If you haven't got one just crack the joint where a rad valve connects to the tail in the rad and let some out that way. If you haven't got one when you drain the system completely in 4 or so weeks time take the opportunity to fit one.Can anyone help...
