Mint Card disappeared from my credit reference file

in Credit cards
Just to set the scene, my Mint card was in a payment arrangement following all the problems unemployment caused me and I was not even within my credit limit just now. Anyway, today I tried to login to try and see what the current balance is as I might be able to increase the amount I was paying to it. When I entered my username I got a message saying: "Unable to access your account. Please contact us using the 'Contact Us' link." I then phoned the number on the website and was told that as I no longer have the card they couldn't help as they would need the cards 3 digit security code to be able to access things. When I checked on Credit Expert to see if I could get a rough idea of the balance, I was surprised to find out that it was not listed anymore. I have just had a look at the "previous reports" bit on the Credit Expert website and the last time Mint is shown on a report is two reports ago, dated 09/12/2009. On that report it was showing as being 2 months in arrears. Has anyone else had anything like this happen? Or is anyone able to offer me any advice on this? I'm guessing I should write to Mint about it but I'm not really sure how to word this enquiry to them.

Was the number that was quoted the one for the Internet Helpdesk or for Customer Services? If you call Customer Services (try 0800 3894386 and hold for Customer Services), as long as you have sufficient security information on the account, they should be able to either to pass you to the team that deals with your account or take a debit card payment from you. If an account is in arrears then I believe online access is limited.
No idea about the credit report but you could always ask if you call.0 -

Thanks. It was the internet helpdesk number I phoned as the last time I tried to login it worked fine and told me in my account bit I had limited access due to the arrears. However this time it wouldn't let me login in at all.0
