Oh,Missy, I didn't know that your job was so complicated (re: long hours, being away, etc). You are right that you need to prioritize, and finally do whatever you want to do, and spend more time with OH. Go for it girl, you'll be fine!

I do a 50hr a week (unfortunately it's in my contract-trying to go "part time" doing 40hrs but at the moment it's not possible), I'm never at home and I def don't spend enough time with OH-we are still in the money saving status rather than the "sod it, we need our life back" status-hopefully it will come soon!!

Morning, sorry its still so carppy - its really hard when you know what you want to do and it is just within reach. Does DH actually know how you feel? If he earns enough anyway could you not just find an any old 9-5 type job locally with less travelling so when he is home you can be together more, and also still have some money yourself?

Did you make it to matalan to take the stuff back?

no taking them back at the weekend hun.

It is time I need to get my life back so what I think I might do is see if I can get a teaching assistant job near by then I wont work too many hours and I'll see OH and get to be in the environment I want to work in. Then I would still have money for me and some for the bills etc.

I'm sorry you're not at that point yet Kavics but you will be soon honey I'm sure of it.

*****tip toes in and puts her head around the door*****

Hello my lovelies.... I'm so sorry for not being around, I've been really poorly, and had problems at work and not really been myself, but am feeling a lot better and am back to my normal self. :D

I am in the midst of trying to organise our wedding reception/garden party!! To try and include everyone because we got married abroad

Now that is a challenge and a half! Really want to do it old style and as cheap as possible. Tehy'll be about 65 people!

We are having a garden party, so we're hiring a marquee, tables and chairs.

I am doing the balloons and flowers myself (i've never done anything like it before but I hope it'll be ok!!) my stepmum is ordering the meat through her work and everyone is chipping in to do the BBQ. We're going to order the drink from tesco...... think that's it.

Oh am hoping to make the cake, was thinking about cupcakes, (haven't ever decorated them before, well not to any nice state!!! so any tips would be greatly appreciated!)

So that's me for now, I hope you're all ok and not cross with me for not being on line for a while.

    Big hugs

    xx

Of course we are not mad at you - just really worried!

The garden party is a lovely idea, hope it goes really well.

Now - did you take that stuff back, and have you thought any more about jobs, your car etc?

My DH may not have his job by the end of this week, he's told them he wants a 3 day week or nothing
