its very easy to do but dont panic as shoe gal said they can be taken back and all will be sorted. Perhaps if you really need that shopping spree you could get £5 or £10 out of bank - no more - and go shopping in the charity shops. As there are all sorts there it makes more of a challenge to get a complete outfit that works together and you have to do it within the money.

Hope you feel happy and more positive soon as you are doing well x

    Hi Missymoo

I know one thing and that is that you are NOT a complete idiot...or even an incomplete one :rotfl:

Just look back over the last three, six or twelve months and you will see that you have achieved a hell of a lot!...and you are going to do so much more in the next twelve months too!

Remember: Getting to DFW status is a marathon not a sprint!

I know how hard it is to train and run a marathon as I've done two!:D...so, sit down, have a nice glass of wine or a cuppa, set yourself some tiny...and I mean tiny targets for this week, like taking those clothes back, brush yourself down and start afresh tomorrow.

I have started doing little target lists for each week where I try to achieve five maybe six small tasks / jobs...as simple as taking some books back to the library, doing all my correspondence filing, etc.

Achieving little targets helps you break down larger tasks and provides motivation on a regular basis, as well as illustrating the benefits of "getting stuff organised".

Slm6002's suggestion seems great..will do that myself when budget allows.

thanks chrisblue, am some what calmer and more chilled now, realising that I can take the clothes back, no harm done.

Have just made some flapjack bars to take to work for snacks, and have just made some bread, but it has just sunk in the oven which isnt good, I don't think it is going to be edible, am going to try making bagels tomorrow instead, or rolls even.

    Morning hun,

No harm done, you have realised what you did and that is the most important part, and we all still love you :p.

I was given a panasonic bread maker for Xmas and I have not bought shop bread since, it only costs about 37p a loaf for yummy fresh bread. It has defiately paid for itself. Also, its a life saver as if i've got a load of people round and I know they will be there over lunch for example, i just quick bake a big loaf and we have chip butties!!

Have fun taking the stuff back :T

    Hi Missy,

Sorry for work, hope you will be able to find something soon. Regarding to clothes, just take them back! I reward myself after every successful OU assignment to buy one piece of clothing (max price is £19.99), plus OH buys me a cookery book (as I am obsessed with cooking :D). So am always looking forward to it and always think carefully what I need-this way there is no chance that I overspend or go shopping!

Anyway, anyone coming for Capital Fm's summer ball? Got tickets for Oh, plus 2 of our friends, can't wait as last time I bought concert tickets-Michael Jackson decided to die:o.
