    hello my lovelies.

I'm back!!!! So sorry I was MIA, but am feeling soo much better, managed to get through my bad patch relatively unscathed, and a little bit wiser!

Thank you for all the messages, they very much made me feel loved and missed!

Only 6 and a half weeks until the wedding!!! How exciting!! Still have bits and pieces to do but nothing major.

me and OH are going out on another thrifty night out on saturday, we've got a 2 for 1 at pizza express.

My weight shifting isn't working at the moment, need to eat less and exercise more I think! going carb free on monday (obviously after the pizza express weekend!) just for a couple of weeks, has worked previously. Bit difficult with OH here but I'll get there am a bit sick of feeling fat and horrid, looked at a height and weight chart yesterday and am overweight!! need to lose 21lb to be really healthy! Have continued to exercise have been doing at least 3 sessions a week, need to do atleast 5 I think, and eat smaller portions more often. Anyway am rambling

Thanks again everyone for being there for me.

    Hello Missy.:dance::dance:

    Glad that you're back.

What do you eat when you're carb free? A lot of protein. (I don't think I could go carb free-my love affair with toast and peanut butter/Marmite/fried eggs would have to end:eek::eek:. And I need carbs when it's cold)

Exercising 5 times a week:eek::eek: When are you going to rest your body/muscles. If you eat to little you won't lose weight. Doesn't it slow down your metabolism.

Good luck with the diet, exercise and wedding plans.
    I went away and now I'm back.:j:j

    Hi Red

I'll be eating a lot of fruit and chicken and veg, but the right ones, and 5 times a week exercising is ok, I'll rest at the weekends. Don't get me wrong I'll be eating, probably more than I do now, just the right things.

But I know what you mean about toast and fried eggs. mmmmmmm

    Hi Missy,

Welcome back. I think (and you can boo me) it's a good idea to do exercise 5 times a week but only for a couple of weeks. It certainly worked for me previously (made a huge difference doing 5 rather than 4 classes), I did it for 6 weeks and shifted appr. 10lbs with sensible eating. I would only recommend it longer if you are very fit and used to exercises-than you don't do any harm. Just make sure that you vary what you do, doing the same won't help.

Enjoy your pizza night at the weekend, treat yourself before the countdown ;).

hey kavics, thank you for the advice... I'm only planning to do it for a few weeks, I am generally quite fit anyway being military, just a bit of a porker with it!!! I'm going to start running, used to really enjoy it but got out of the habit, I'll do that and go on the bike and cross trainer for variation.

Really looking forward to my pizza.... x

Great to see you back and in good spirits.
I would imagine in terms of the scales you'll initially gain weight due to muscle gain but hopefully you'll see the loss of fat and a better defined shape in the mirror.
Don't get on the scales more than once a week as you go up and down a bit anyway and if you're not careful you're emotions go on a rollercoaster following the results!!

Glad you're back. Everyone has a "dip" now and again but it's good that you've come back with avengance. :).

Exercise...mmm... I remember that. Used to do loads of running years ago(marathon x 2, loads of 10k races) now reduced to sprinting to the fridge and back ! :(
