Sorry, complete newbie here and I'm sure this has probably been asked a hundred times before - but I have about 7k on two different cards just now and I'm looking at the best way to sort it out. I've seen the the Barclaycard low interest (6.9%) for ever mentioned on this website, and also have been looking at a Bank of Scotland 12.4% loan. Now clearly the percentage rates are more favourable with barclycard BT, but I'm wondering if its as simple as that? My plan would be to set up a standing order / DD to pay a set amount off per month with the card, similar to what would happen with a loan.
I'm reasonably smart in other areas of life, but out of my comfort zone when it comes to finance, so I'd appreciate any pearls of wisdom.
Thanks!
