Some extensive brake and suspension work (£650) done by a local garage has recently been revealed to be suspect by my (very reliable) local dealer, and all the work needed to be re-done. Stupidly I had tried to save on the dealer price of this work.
I've been driving for a year on incorrectly fitted brake shoes - apparently they had bent the springs to fit them on the new drums , leading to early wear and poor performance - even though this is an MOT garage that then MOTed the car immediately afterwards.
The self-adjusting suspension strut they fitted also failed - annoyingly a year and a few days later.
I should have been more wary of this outfit - on the same service they managed to smash the rear screen, but tried to get away without letting us know (they picked up a spare from a local scrapyard and fitted it without saying anything - only shards of glass in the car gave it away and they admitted what had happened when challenged).
How much pressure can I bring to rectify this, a year after the event? Is section 75 useful? The dealer is certain it was fitted poorly, but is wary of being empathic it was done on purpose.

I think you have virtually no chance to claim under S 75.
You said it yourself the car has run for 12 months.0
