I have a Beko DVC 6531 cooker. The hobs, grill and top oven all work fine but I have just had the main oven on for 15 mins and it's just blowing cold air around inside. Can anybody offer me a solution? Thanks

Oh dear, your heating element sounds like it has gone! Fairly simple to replace, however! Hang on will look for instructions!
ETA, couldn't find your model, ask here: http://www.howtomendit.com/search.php its usually pretty easy, however if you're a bit worried at decent electrican should only charge a small fee as its a pretty quick job!:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0 -
Just to check first, do you have any auto / manual buttons, push them a few times just to make sure its not on auto.
Happend to a friend of mine once and she was delighted it worked.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I had the same thing happen to a Hotpint oven. I thought it was the elemt too, but it actually was the rotary selector switch knob!Hoping this year is better than the last.

Oh no, I replaced the heating element and everything seems fine apart from when the oven is heating up, it makes a really loud intermittent vibrating noise - almost like the shelves on the oven are up against the fan (which they're not because there is a cover over the fan) but that's the only way to describe the noise.
Does anybody have any idea what this may be?0
