Excellent! I know someone is going to be on here at some point telling me I am a bad person and that I'm encouraging bad behaviour but hey, play them at their own game! It's the only fun you get to have when someone has wronged you so badly!

You'd think it is really wouldn't you? I still stick by the fact that they get money out of innocent people every day for nothing and make the people with genuine debts feel like criminals.

following on from sending the letter i have had another letter today exactly the same as the previous one. I'm just going to ignore this one, am I doing right?

Yes ignore them. It is their duty to prove that you owe them something. Not your duty to prove that you don't.

No, they are telling a pack of lies in order to frighten you.

As for deduction from wages, that would only be possible if they could get a court order, and since the (alleged) debt is statue-barred there is no question of that.

If only you had tape-recorded the call. Firm evidence of this kind of behaviour would be enough to put them out of business!

I've had another letter too, I took great delight in shredding it and mixing it in with the compost :rotfl:

i'm off to clean up the cat !!! out the garden with mine i think. will make me feel better.
