Then I would do a full scan with MawareBytes (will take a few hours)

I tried this however it asks you to purchase the product before you can do anything once it has run the scan, unless I did something wrong. Don't mind purchasing if I need to but partner thinks we can use Kaspersky to run a scan if required?

Is there anything I can do to improve the slowness of my PC, it is chugging along sometimes very slowly...

What's your existing Ram like? Upping the Ram can be a very worthwhile (and relatively cheap) investment. Ccleaner is quite good to clear out any detritus ;).

It displays a message saying "this process will permenantly delete files from your system, do you wish to proceed?"

Is this anything to worry about or should I proceed?

Not sure what existing RAM is like, will try to take a look if I can find out how to check - thank you for the link...

You can proceed but, may I suggest, it might be wise to create a system restore point before you do so. Having said that, I've never ever had a problem with ccleaner.

It's removed 323.4MB in 122.990 seconds. It says it's deleted Office 2009 Application??

I just need to get adobe on my pc now, that disappeared when these problems started but my computer is not letting me download it again.

Need it to view some files unfortunately!

As an alternative to Adobe Reader, you might want to try Foxit Reader - very fast, and very light-weight install ;).
