Then I would do a full scan with MawareBytes (will take a few hours)
I tried this however it asks you to purchase the product before you can do anything once it has run the scan, unless I did something wrong. Don't mind purchasing if I need to but partner thinks we can use Kaspersky to run a scan if required? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. What's your existing Ram like? Upping the Ram can be a very worthwhile (and relatively cheap) investment. Ccleaner is quite good to clear out any detritusThanks, will do.

It displays a message saying "this process will permenantly delete files from your system, do you wish to proceed?"
Is this anything to worry about or should I proceed?
Not sure what existing RAM is like, will try to take a look if I can find out how to check - thank you for the link...This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
You can proceed but, may I suggest, it might be wise to create a system restore point before you do so. Having said that, I've never ever had a problem with ccleaner. It displays a message saying "this process will permenantly delete files from your system, do you wish to proceed?"
