I have a Packard Bell dot M/A (£220) which is fine with Windows 7 upgrade and 2gb RAM but the battery life is not good. The M/U seems to have a fairly poor processor - the Celeron ULV doesn't get good reports. I think with a six cell battery you might get four hours.
You could look at an Acer Ferrari although reports of fan noise would put me off.
