Anyone travelled wth A1 Travel?... has anyone booked from them

I'm looking at a holiday with A1 Travel - never heard of them before so am aprehensive with booking with them what they though of them on price, service,hotels, any problems ets.

I went to Barbados with them a couple of years ago and didnt have any problems. They were the cheapest when I was looking, Id use them again.

I booked to go to crete last summer with A1 travel & due to the collapse of goldtrail didnt get to travel, after countless phone calls,e-mails etc they are the most unhelpful company i have ever dealt with & i haven't a penny back yet, they basically don't want to know if you are looking for a refund of any kind - it's now 6 months. I hope all goes well but if you have any problems expect alot of hassle.

A1 do not sell holidays, they sell separate parts which is fine if everything goes OK but as many others have commented, if one part disappears, you may only have half a holiday

Can only reiterate what others have said. They'll sell you a flight, a hotel stay and a transfer. They are not like Thomson's who'll look after you from start to finish.
