Now that I have transferred my balance over to Capital One.
Egg have nothing left to offer me any longer, their anniversary deal has finished for me too, should I cancel it completely? I already have a Goldfish card for emergencies.
Thanks.

I always cancel old cards, only because I think if it’s cancelled then you've less exposure to possible fraud. I don't know how legitimate my concerns are there, but it's one fewer set of people sending me credit card cheques through the post, that could easily end up in a criminal postie's back pocket.I wonder why it is, that young men are always cautioned against bad girls. Anyone can handle a bad girl. It's the good girls men should be warned against.-David Niven0

Before cancelling Egg Card I'd apply for Egg Money - it is more easy to get for existing customers, pays 1% cashback on purchases and can be used for SBTs to other credit cards (extracting cash from other credit cards).0

I shall be cancelling my Egg card when I repay my 5 month anniversary 0% offer. It is no longer worth keeping.
John.
ps I always use Egg Money which will not be closed.0 -

Well my anniversary offer finished. However they have just written to me asking whether I was interested in a bt offer of 3.9 percent but does have a fee. Ive decided to keep mine because you can transfer overdraft and loans to the card. Could be very useful when shifting money around. Of course there is no getting around the fee.0 -
I'd ditch the Goldfish card and get an Egg Money 1% cash back card and a GE Money 3% cash back card0

Get an Egg Money and you can do fee free transfers to current accounts and overdrafts.0
