    our heating packed up at 0930 on Christmas day morning !!! In their defence they wre there within 60 mins and fixed the fault !

    Repair and Care is not a priority other homecare customers will be seen to first regardless of your payment.

    With the high volume of breakdowns BG were getting the "Priority" level reduce to " Will you or anyone that stays in the house die" with no heat or hot water. To many people abuse this power and ruin it for people who really need an engineer.

    Plus they were so busy I was called in twice on my days off to do ASC to answer the phones when I work a totally different department.

    I can fully appreciate that this has been a busy time for them But why didn't they let me know that they weren't coming? And how could they know that there was no one was vulnerable in my house? They didn't ask when I rang on Saturday. I would never claim that there was someone vulnerable when there isn't.
  • I dont doubt for a second you would but there is people out there who after being questioned will say "oh yeah My great uncle stays here and he might die"

    Even though they 2 seconds ago no one eles was staying in the property until they realised they would get it faster if a vunerable person was in the house.

    The most annoying thing is who am I to call them a lier ?

    With the adverse weather conditions over christmas BG were operating a reduced service as many people struggled to get to their work thats no doubt why you didnt get a call.
