I did it 1st month not OD

Just finished my first month on my DMP and my first month with my new bank account and I didn't overspend and I didn't go overdrawn, the first time in 6 years that I didn't go overdrawn and the first time in 3 years I didn't go over my OD limit.

I coped without Credit Cards !!!!!

I even managed to survive 2 shopping trips :T


Just had to share that with someone as I feel so happy !

Can I just nominate Martin and the CCCS for Knighthoods please?

    Huge well done :) It feels SO great doesn't it? I remember when ages ago I had a bit of a shick when I went over my OD (first time in a YEARS) and I guess that was really my LBM. Ok so I still have a loan and a bit of debt on my CC but my current acc looks healthier than it has in years although it might be a tad worse next month when I use my ODto pay off my CC before the end of the 0% offer ends :) Unless my credit file is updated with my electoral roll details and my credit score goes back up to a "normal" level so I can find another 0% card :)

    OOH well done!

    you've inspired me . I tried a couple of months ago but missed by about £3. Last month was a bit of a disaster and I might as well have poured money down the drain last week - but I am going to get myself back on track!

    I can't remember the last time I wasn't overdrawn !!

    As you know, my CCCS appointment is tomorrow, so hopefully I will have a month like that very soon.
    Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:
