creating the facility to create polls within the various forums in MSE. I mean the sort of poll in which one has a number of choices upon which one can click to vote. MSE doesn't seem to have it; quite a shame! I ask because it seems that placing them within forums would be a better than having a special section and more democraitc then all having to be started by one privileged person

This section's where people can discuss polls we've had on the main site home page and that have been in the weekly email - that's why it's always one of the MSE team that starts those threads.

Anyone start their own poll about subjects on other boards though as long as they're relevant to that section (just ask Southernscouser!! )
