Obtaining money from credit cards

in Credit cards
Just wondered if anyone knew the right way to go about this....
I have an unused credit card from MBNA with approx £180 which was just put in from a recent charges reclaim. Now, obviously as this money is mine and not Mr MBNA's I would like it in my hands not as credit on this card. How can I go about 'asking' for it as opposed to in the account.
I'm not going to close the account as yet as this is my oldest of the cards and I read somewhere to help credit to keep your oldest card (don't know the truth in this!)
Any help would be greatly oblidged
Regards
Neil

Ring them up and ask for it or send them a secure message if you have that facility.
Would be useful to send them your account number, sort code and account name if you want it transferred to your bank account.
Alternatively jsut spend it on food/petrol.0 -
In the circumstances, I'd ring MBNA Card Services (on 01244 673101 to avoid the perishing 0870 numbers) with your card to hand and ask for a refund.People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0
