Argos sell house moving packs. You could ask somwhere like currys or toys rus who have large heavy items. Morrisons give away banana boxes but you have to go in early for them as there not allowed to save them, maybe ring first see when they suggestn you call in, if you use banana boxes pick up some wine boxes to open up and strengthen the bottom as they usually have a piece of thin card.

Is there a morrisons in Northern Ireland? I aked at Tesco earlier but they said no! I'll keep hunting and if nothing comes out of the supermarkets I'll just have to buy some:o

Call into your local off licence and they will have a multitude they dont need r will be recycling.

Ask them when they get their deliveries and if you can call in that evening and collect some. Mention in advance how many you reckon they'll need as they won't be able to keep loads due to space.

Also, if that doesnt work, I recommend Box and Deliver in Belfast. They make custom boxes to any size. Cheaply

  • Most small off licences will keep boxes for you if you ask but they don't have much room to store them so you will need to go pick them up pronto and might have to go back a few times to get what you need. When I moved house I found most shops were really happy to help out but storage was the main problem which is why they usually break down their boxes as they empty them.
