Just had the computer from pc world where the factory settings have been restored due to a virus etc. I tried to list an ebay listing and when it comes to the browse pics section it no longer automatically finds the my pictures section. Also I reinstalled the camera software and trans some pics but the end up in a small file and don't just go into my pics as they used to at the end of the previous pictures. Anyone here know how to restore this back to as it was. It needs to be simple as my pc skills are limited. Thanks in advance
I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Do you still have a My Pictures folder inside the My (or maybe your user name) Documents folder?
Quite often programs simply remember the last location which was used so providing you still have a My Pictures you maybe only need to navigate to it My Computer/My Documents/My Pictures/ and use it for it to become the default once again.
(The path to My Documents could be a bit more complex depending on how your PC was set up).0 -
I still have my pictures folder and it has the pics I have loaded into it since the comp came back, they are in smaller files. Click on the file open and they are there. When I loaded pics before they used to just stack up in my pics folder not in small files ??I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0

I may be misunderstanding, so forgive me if I have.
The 'small pictures" is most likely a simple fix. open the folder which contains the pictures, right click anywhere in the window and click VIEW, change to medium icons (or large if you like) and your pictures should display the way you like.
The e-bay picture problem, as suggested this will most likely be solved the 1st time you navigate to the correct folder (my docs>pictures?)Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0
