Since he does not have parental rights in effect he does not have to give the details in case of emergency , as he has similar rights as a stranger other than he has to pay child support

Yes it all is really tricky knowing the right thing to do for your child. I am extremely lucky to have married a wonderful man who has been a father to my son since he was 8 months old. We have all the love and support we could need I just wanted the medical details for my son. The only thing that seems to have resonated with his BF is that my son does have a human right to that information and fact he has agreed to complete the survey is progress I suppose. Thanks its really good to hear other's opinions on things like this.
