Hi all
Apologies if I've missed this thread elsewhere but I had a quick look and didn't spot it.
How do other regular posters feel about continuing this thread? It seems to be getting started later in the day. Are people getting bored with it, or is it more likely that we can't assess what we've spent until later in the day?
I still need the support of the thread to keep me focussed, what about the rest of you?
Anyway in DFW style, i'll post my spends for the day and it's a BIG one - even this far.
£95 without even leaving the house! Man came to 'refurbish' my old enamel bath. It does look wonderful now though and I had budgetted for this.
I need to go out later to Post Office to send some mail but the cost should only be a few pence as I have some stamps in the house already.
and now an unknown cost;- I've tried saving money by colouring my hair at home and the result is dreadful    I'm hoping to remedy it by toning it down with another colour (strand test developing as I type) but if that doesn't work I'm going to have to rely on the sympathies and expertese of a professional hairdresser to salvage something from this mess (for those finding this difficult to visualise - my hair is now the colour of custard - not fetching:o ). And I daren't even think about how much that will cost! I could just become a hermit 'til it grows out but my brother gets married on Friday...............................no pressure then:rotfl: :rotfl:

i think it is a great thread, and a lot of posters only post at the end of the day when they have done all their spending. also its a great asset for newbies and keeps them focused in the early days, so lets keep the thread going!!!

£1.00 on a cookie.

Bless. My nan found some money in the house that grandad had stashed away before he died (an original MSE-er?) so nan gave me £100 to go towards my travel fund, which was lovely of her. Bless!!
Got £125 in my paypal account from ebay sales & rpoints cashback - although a bit disapointed as most of the items went for next to nothing, but my own fault really..
MUST look into getting travel insurance asap!!
Just about to take some shoes back to Shelly's which I only bought 6 weeks ago, so hopefully they'll replace them (fingers crossed). I dont have the receipt but the chap on the phone said that would be ok....?! May take in a bank statement anyway...
