5p charge for BIN listings this Thursday

I don't like these days where you pay in full and then get your money back later. I am always worried that I have done something wrong and am paying the full whack, at least with the usual days you can see before you place your listing that you have fulfilled the requirements and are paying the lower rate.
It also means that the full bill has to be paid on the insertion fees and only late the credit goes back onto your ebay account as a credit, so it is fine for sellers like me that have a steady turnover, but for one off sellers they'll never use their ebay fee credit.
I wasn't going to bother but have decided after all that I will list. I'm on leave soon so this will be a good idea to sell until the last minute as I don't have to worry about slow payers!

Please someone tell me what I am doing wrong..I've read the ebay help pages (not very helpful are they?) and can't see if it is me or my PC playing up.
I'm trying to load items on Turbolister for tomorrow but when I opt for immediate payment required it defaults to a UK only sale. I'm sure I can sell internationally and still use immediate payment..or can I?
I've checked for updates on TL and have installed all those, and still it just says 'to sell internationally you need to add postage options in your post section" (or words to that effect) but I have and I still can't list for overseas.
Grrr, it's giving me a headache.

Hi, I haven't used this type of listing before, does it ususally help sales, do I need to lower prices slightly to ensure that they sell and can I still extend the auction if I start with a 3 day auction?
Thanks.0 -

Thanks.
As they are BINs just go for the full 10 days. In previous offer days making any amendments to a listing resulted in the full charge being made..or so they threatened.
As for prices I usually go for what I reckon will attract people, if the item sells for about £9-£11 usually I might do a BIN at £9.99 or if I had a large stock knock them all out at £8.50 or something. For more expensive items I sometimes start towards at the top of the market just to test the water. If it doesn't sell all you've lost is the 5p listing fee (plus any extras) and you can just list later as a straight auction..but nothing ventured nothing gained.

Good advice, I've thanked you. I will probably pay the extra 6p and set my new auctions to start just after midnight.0

It's a bit rubbish compared with their regular cheap listing days. It's very clearly aimed at persuading people to open or change to fee-paying Paypal accounts. Since I am stubbornly sticking with my basic Paypal account, it could be advantageous for me to list auctions as usual tomorrow, and hope that most other sellers will have taken advantage of the cheap listing BIN with immediate payment offer, possiby most of their goods already having sold by the time my auctions finish, leaving more customers for me! So my theory goes, anyway. I'll just have to make sure I don't have them finish during or too near the World Cup final on 9th July.0
