    Well done Katsu :D

Pap dont think I can watch that - obese kids is tantamount to child abuse, it makes me angry!

Ahhh see I was a morbidly obese child, however I wouldn't say I was abused. Just a lazy child with hormone problem, unkown to me then :D

Tricky subject Becky...I swear that B will not be an overweight/obese child as I was bullied, teased etc at school and I would hate for her to go through that. When I look back at how I was I was determined to eat..I would sneak food, buy food whenever I was out..it wasn't my parents it was me. So difficult as there really wasn't much they could have done, well I guess they could have got to the root of it but back then not sure there would be as much help as there is now

Tis tricky...I often watch these programmes and think but why don't the parents stop them eating.....

I guess until you have been there you don't know how these things pan out.

My friend is severely anorexic......not sure what will encourage her to eat...her parents have tried everything..

pap I wouldn't worry about the southwestern site, it's pants anyway. I did manage to crash the Southern site 3 times in one day and I was most pleased.

jacs -your son sounds lovely, if a little bit of a handful (used to work with adults with ASDs and the fella there with DS and ASD's loved me, used to snuggle my hair all the time!)

I think it's quite scary if there isn't a medical reason why a little one is overweight, and that the parents are just letting them eat and eat all the wrong foods.

Exactly SRM its hard isn't it. Is there anyway you could encorporate more physical activity as a family. Something like you all take up swimming once/twice a week.

send in super nanny...just stick to it, if you give in she will know she can break you. I know you know this already and much easier to say it than put it into practice!

see the schools do all this serving bacon sarnies and pizza's and stuff at school..just in case kids don't get fed at home...

When i were a lass we just had breakfast (if we were lucky) school dinners and soup and sandwiches for tea...

takeaways and fast food were unheard of.....
