removing "sellotape mark"

There is a mark on my new dinning table where the store stuck the price lablel with the sellotape. I can't get to remove this. I don't want to use use too much force as it may make a scrach marck on it...

Any bright ideas?

    Try WD40 first, I use nail varnish remover if the surface isn't one that will be damaged easily
    Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

    A good way of removing labels is to heat gently with a hairdryer while peeling back. Might work just on the glue residue with kitchen paper?

    I've found that ordinary cooking oil is very effective at removing glue residue.
