Centerparcs Longleat- which restaurants?

Hi,

We are off to Centerparcs in Longleat next week (me, husband and 2 children - 3 and 6). I am not sure whether to book up restaurants for dinner each evening or just to turn up and hope for the best:confused:. Has anyone been there recently that can offer me some advise please? Many thanks in advance.

Hello! From experience I would say that there is no need to pre-book in advance. If you were a large group of say 6+, then it would be best to pre-book - but for just the 4 of you - you will be fine!

Have you been to CP longleat before? It's our favourite of them all!

We went for Christmas and pre-booking was only necessary for the the popular meals, like Christmas Breakfast and Lunch.
You are going off-peak so should be fine.
We found that the restaurants didn't get busy until after 7pm.
We had a fabulous time and going back for Easter :)
    Have a great time.

Thanks for your advice. We went before, about four years ago and really enjoyed it. We haven't tried any of the others but as Longleat was really good and the closest to us we decided to stick with it. Best wishes.

Thanks moneypooh. As we generally eat well before 7pm when are out with the children it sounds like we will be able to get a table without any problems.

I go to Whinfell & find that the restaurants fill up between 5 & 7pm as kiddies want feeding. After then it tends to get quieter.

We were at Whinfell in October and it wasn't too bad. Longleat does seem to have larger restaurants and being spread over 3 sites (plaza, village square and JDS) seems to spread the load a bit. Pancake house and Hucks always busy at 'childrens teatime'. See how busy it is and enquiry on the 1st day and the restaurants should know what availability will be like. You can always call a few days ahead to check.
I wouldn't worry though, I was never without somewhere to eat when mine were young. In fact we still tend to eat early as we want to go down the rapids at night.
