Hello; please may I join? I'm a tad nervous about this; having a chronic health condition, my approach to housework is haphazard at best. I do need to get this place under control though; Mr LW is a gem, and does a lot around the house, but it's still a tip.

I'll copy down the whole of the day's list and see how I get on; realistically I'll be aiming just for Level One and take it from there.

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Area
    Level One
    Declutter and wipe those worksurfaces
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Level Two
    Clean the hob and oven
    Clean out the fridge..
    Level Three
Clean out the under sink cupboard.. new year, new cleaning products!
    Dust and deweb
Wipe over the units and large appliances
    Extras
    1. wash windows
    2. Declutter the tops of the wall units
    3. Sort recipe books/files
    4. Wipe over all the small appliances
    Oh, and Happy Birthday Quillion.:o

    HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE icon7.gif

I'm back in again this week. House is a complete mess as other than the odd flick with a duster & occasional vac up nothing has been done for the last 2 weeks.
Last day before DS goes back to school so I am taking him & his friend sledging this morning so will get to the list this afternoon.

WM on doing the first load

    Morning

It is very frosty here so glad school is off for another day, DH decluttered back to work though.

Smartie I'm dreading DS2's name getting to the top of the paper round list, hope he is ok

Diva hugs for you and Tris

LL morning sweetie, wishing you a Happy Day

    Quillion Happy Birthday - enjoy

Lil_me Happy Birthday for DS1, hope he has a good day

Greenbee - great news on the key (I did not win as you said you had checked your knicker drawer :p)

Potty - there is an MSE fitness thread (the flyladies just set a thread up on facebook) or there is an MSE wii fitness board thread if you have one of those, lots of flyladies are on there.

On my third cuppa so plan is a little paperwork and then the shower before getting the kids rooms done then upstairs will be back to normal.

Welcome and please don't be nervous, we are not here to judge but to support. There are weeks when some of us acheive very little (ignore Mudbath and PenPen they are swots but not the rest of us :p).

When you say you house is a tip do you mean a mess with clutter everywhere? If yes then for now I'd concentrate on sorting stuff out as to what you can get rid of and what needs a home found for it. Once the place is tidier it is so much easier and quicker to clean. Good luck
