I was only thinking about this tonight as I added a million ingredients to my spaghetti sauce .... how strange...!
When I was in my late teens, still living at home but treating it like a hotel.... my favourite meal was pasta with plenty of butter and fresh (not that dry muck) parmesan cheese. If the didn't have fresh parmasan I would use grated strong cheddar.
It sounds so bland but it's one of those comforting meals that you can eat in bed while nursing a hangover
When I was little and 'hungry in a hurry', my Mum would make a pan of spaghetti with butter and a tin of tuna. Again, sounds bland and boring but it's comfort food pure and simple and there's always tuna, pasta and butter in he kitchenJust run, run and keep on running!0
