    Undoubtably no10.

If Labour Govt can suggest finding 'efficiency' savings of tens of billions of £ it just goes to show what a complete lack of control has built up over the past decade.

The colossal amounts of public expenditure will inhibit economic growth and is/will adversly affect the standards of living of many none public sector workers for many years to come.

I actually don't agree most of these are Browns doing.

Blair wanted a lot of these so called reforms bringing in. Tax credits being the obvious one on this. His idea, nicked from the american system.

IMO Blair has a lot to answer for - potentially illegal war, & therefore soldiers blood & civillians blood on his hands, he has now admitted that he effectively lied about the reasons ha gave the nation for going, & has also said he'd have done it anyway. To my mind, that is a dictatorship, not a democracy. Tax credits were his, the CSA & the fact that the legislation for that was so bad it was resubmitted to parliament 11 times in a 10 year period.

The general mismanagement of the whole country since 1997 is Blairs responsibility. The guy has a lot to answer for, his ignorance, his turning blind eyes, his deceit, & his contempt to the populace.

From where I am, Brown got a poison chalice, & he's been trying to sort out a ridiculous mess left by the jet-setting toad.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Can't agree with you on that one. Blair seemed far more malleable. Brown and his Treasury coterie held many of the levers of financial power and are wholly responsible for the financial mess we are in. He's done precious little in the 2 years he's had in power to convince me he's doing a half decent job in any way, shape or form.

Taking out the gaffs he made in No.11 he is doing a far better job in No.10 than Tony Bliar.

It is a shame you cant see it.

However I doubt I will be voting Labour, Cons (Cameron is even more clueless) or Lib Dem as its the same old, same old.

Give me a party that promises to chuck out MPs after 10 years services & also give them 10 years jail if they abuse public money & they get my vote.
    Not Again

That wouldn't take much though would it ? Tony Blaibility methinks...still Brown has held the pursestrings for 12+ years so he's gotta accept a big share of the blame.

And I think a 10 year rule would be great.

nb - original list didn't include Brown's ruination of private pension provision.
