When someone does that they should be dragged over the coals .
Typical party politics again can't see beyond the Party......Jeezuz some people:rolleyes:.It will be years in truth before we genuinely know IF he was right and indeed may never know.
So do you think anyone, Jeezuz included, believes that this thread's motivation is remotely anything but political...?0

Yep, There are still some of us left who are "openminded" and can actually see beyond the party spin, sadly you like many have been brainwashed into thinking one party is right.
You see I know I can give credit where credit is due and indeed slate them when its due.
Its very sad to see people who are "Brain washed" into believing one party is right all the time.
Why not just be honest and admit Nu-Labour have messed up big time with many of their policies......
I think Labour were right to take the interest rate decision away from politics and into the hands of people who are actually qualified more to take the decision.Nu-labour have spent £Billions on the NHS which is a credit to them, sadly much of it wasted. The same goes for Education.
Just be HONEST and stop towing the party line..... Tax credits just makes people rely on the State even more.It encourages people to work less because they can claim more and encourages employers to only pay the minimum wage.It just doesn't work. Selling the gold reserves was not a good idea it was selling for $200 an ounce(yes it is easy with hind sight but unless im mistaken it wasn't sold at a hight price). Come on Liz he f***ed up ........ I really don't care what people think the Torys would have done, they were'nt in power.0

I would not really call myself political. Personally though I cannot accept the country being run by a man who has clearly made so many mistakes.
Do you not believe that the Labour party would be better off being run by someone else? Its a bit like RBS still being run by Fred Goodwin. I just cannot see how GB can make things better when he is not even prepared to accept all the mistakes he has made.0

Well, I've given the OP another gander and I have to admit that there is absolutely no sign whatsoever of it having been written by someone who favours the election of Camertoff.
 My mistake.
I have also read Norman Tebbit's memoirs, all the latest statements from Conservative Central Office and the menu from Toff-u-like and, similarly, find no sign whatsoever of there being any political slant lurking behind them.
Mind you, that's because I'm just a naive little creature with no ability at all to detect partisan tendencies in threads.
 Not like you, of course.0

LizEstelle, I voted Labour, I'm a long-time Labour supporter - but that doesn't mean Brown should get let off the hook for everything he's done wrong.
He has made loads of mistakes - I'd be hard-pressed to pick just 1 from the long list in the OP.
You can't deal with the problems if you just brush them under the carpet.0

Maybe I'm a bit biased, as I swing towards the tories a bit more than labour. As I have said before, I respect Darling, but can't respect Brown, Mandleson, or indeed, any of the other lot on the front bench, and I detest Harman.
But I don't see the sort of insults coming from tory supporters, or lib dem supporters that I see coming (a lot) from labour supporters. As many know I use DT on this forum and it's the same there.
The labour party does seem to have a hardcore network, which seems, to me anyway, to be somewhat unique.
The unique part is that the politics are not talked about, the solutions are not talked about, it's always brushed away to someone else, someone elses problem, yet labour run the country, no one else has that power, yet these people seem to keep blaming others.
This sort of theory also seems to run the front bench of labour at the moment, and I think that is the problem.0
