Bathroom and Tiling

Hi there

I have decided to save for a new bathroom suite MSE style (selling/OT/etc) I want a new suite and as I want a basic white loo sink and bath have found them to be more reasonable than I thought. My bathroom layout will not be changed - mainly because the house is so small this is the only way it will fit in:D. I wondered if some nice person will give me a ball park figure as to how much it will cost to

1) have a bathroom fitted
2) have a bathroom tiled
3) have a radiator fitted

I know each price is different and i know to look for good recommendations but I just need to know where I am roughly aiming to have money saved. I have £550 saved so far and saw a B&Q suite for £345 which looked lovely for what I need. I did also see a nice one in the bath store today and the nice man not only gave my 3 year old 2 blue rubber ducks (think that was a bribe to shut him up:rotfl:) and put my son in a display bath to play (another ploy to keep him still while he tried his sales pitch on mummy:rotfl:) but also gave me 60% off and it still came to £1360 the only thing i have to say to that is " thank you for the duck:T"
My poor OH also had to ask for a toilet for DS the guy looked at OH as though he was taking the p***:rotfl:sadly OH had to take DS next door to McD's

Thanks for posting this - I would also be interested in a ball park figure for the same as this is something I would like to do this year

Very, very ballpark and you'll need to get quotes based on your actual circumstances and what your requirements are. Expectations need to be balanced against reality.

    1) have a bathroom fitted - allow £300 - £500 assuming like for like replacement in same location.
    2) have a bathroom tiled - allow £ £15 - £25 per sq m incl addy and grout depending on tiles on prepared walls/floors.
    3) have a radiator fitted - £40 - £ 60

Lots and lots not covered there which will be very site specific.

Bathstore have been giving those away for over 2 years - must have got a job lot. :D.

    Cheers

Thank you for that at least if I save for the higher end I should be able to cover everything so I'll aim for £1000 and I might be able to get some new towels (or a flannel)too x
