Good spot Balloo will get OH to nip up and get some. Even with the Vat I make that about 3.5p a litre which is cheaper than any I saw last year (think the cheapest was an Aldi or B & Q offer which was around the 4p mark?).
BTW how did you get on with your greenhouse. Just been out to knock the snow off ours lol. Looking forward to filling it with toms again this year, but think the courgettes will do better outside.

Most compost is packed in 'large' bags of between 60 and 80 litres. The bigger bales sold in some places like B&Q used to be around 145 litres, but they have now cut these to 120 litres, probably because the elderly & the small couldn't lift them.
NHS hernia departments will probably save thousands of £ as a result!0 -

I am fine now ballo just a bit of a bug, its OH who has had most of the problems. Sky high chlosterol and gallbladder stones, with some liver function effected and some heart issues despite being 6 ft 4 and thin as and only 38.
Good news is he seems alot better now on statins and beta blockers and we have all changed our diets, even more reason to push growing our own as heathly diet more important now.
Loved my greenhouse last year, although had trouble getting the courgettes to fetilize so didn't have many.
Had toms into sept but then due to other issues let things in the garden slide a bit. Still had some fresh herbs from the house into Oct. Just need to get it all cleaned out and organised for this year. For the money (and despite the faff getting the thing up) would have one again, mind you this time would know how to do it rofl.
