Coors Light - Discriminating against beer drinkers!

I recently picked up a couple of four packs of Coors Light (the one that has a label which turns blue when you put it in the fridge) from Home Bargains. The packaging advertised an offer to get 'freebies' including t-shirts.

To be fair you don't need to buy too much beer to get enough points to claim a free t-shirt however there is a big problem with the offer. They only do t-shirts in medium and large. Are they not aware that beer drinkers often come equipped with beer guts. I would have thought that it would make more sense just to make them in extra large.

I've now got enough points to get a t-shirt but I can't get one to fit so I'll have to get a frosted glass or bottle opener that I don't really want.

If anyone from Coors reads this please could you start offering t-shirts capable of accomodating a beer belly.

They might be designed for American beer drinkers in which case they will probably be too big for you...

The website address is a .co.uk one so I think this specifically a UK offer. Could be that these are US sizes but I would have thought they'd have taken this into account on a UK website. It would help it they specified the chest size, I'll try the support e-mail and see if they can tell me. Otherwise I'll need to go on a diet .

Not being funny mate, but anyone who drinks Coors Light possibly deserves to miss out. Proper ale for proper men, and all that.....

I think all beer producers should be proud to support the Great British Beer Belly. If it wasn't for "bought and paid for British Beer Bellies" then most of them would be out of business by now.

If Coors Light only want their t-shirts to be worn by lettuce munchers and/or wine drinkers then all I can say, in the style of a well known pub landlord, is SHAME ON YOU COORS LIGHT!

I only bought their beer because it was going cheap in Home Bargains but in future I think I'll have to boycott it and buy brands that are proud to support the Great British Beer Gut .

  • Coors Light a Beer. More like a man made chemical. Real beer lives on and I recommend my Local Hog Wash and Old Spot to any punter.

Quite right. It's little more than lightly-alcoholic, carbonated rice water.
