I thought it was just me that happened to! Glad it happens to you guys as well - in the nicest possible way ofcourse.
  • Hi Suzie, sounds like you have had a productive critical thinking weekend - I hope it was with some Pinot!

So, on the housing front, what term contract do you currently have? Were there any potential properties?

What did your parents have to say on the matter?

Hiya SM3 I only have to give two months notice in this place I paid £1000 deposit

I really need a two bed or one bed with a study

There are some quite decent flats in the area I am looking for @ £550 per month at least that would be another £300pm towards my cc's as well as being cheaper on Ct.

I think my Dad is esp against me filing for bankruptcy

I will wait and see what CAB have to say on Thursday TBH I don't think I will get any better advise than what I am getting here on the forum. I think the concensus is for me to at least try and find my way thru without going for Br but of all else fails Br is always an option

Its certainly released some of the pressure I am sleeping better and able to concentrate on the work more.

Had a piece of good news today vis a vis my work The lab has secured another five years of funding from a well known charity So its game on

Another good day with minimal spend.

Could you paste you SOA with any alterations you have been recommended again so I can have a look tomorrow?

    Thanks

If Carling made web-sites this would proberly be the best website in the world :T

Get your SOA done here.... http://www.makesenseofcards.co.uk/soacalc.html
  • Wow, £300 pcm saving on your rent as well as council tax would make a huge difference! What are the required deposits on these properties? This presumably should be less than the deposit your current landlord is holding and providing you haven't got lots of expensive damage - you should end up with some left over (after taking into account paying deposit on new property) Which you could also throw at paying something off - although you would probably have to allow some to pay for phone connection etc???

Combined with the cheap socialising and giving M&S Foodhall a wide birth, that would really make a BIG difference to your repayments!
